If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using GrooveCV immediately, as continued use implies acceptance of the updated policies.

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities

• Account Creation: To access our services, you must register and create an account. You are required to provide accurate and complete information, including your name, email address, and password. It is your responsibility to keep this information updated to ensure the smooth operation of your account. Providing incorrect information may lead to restricted access or loss of services.
• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use GrooveCV. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement, ensuring that you can enter into a legally binding contract with us. Users below the age requirement are not allowed to use the Service, and any such accounts may be terminated.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use or breach of security, as timely action can help mitigate potential risks. GrooveCV is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.
• Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violations of these Terms or if we detect suspicious activities, including fraudulent activities or violations of the Acceptable Use Policy. Termination may occur without prior notice if we determine that your actions pose a risk to the platform or other users. In the event of termination, you may lose access to all data associated with your account.

3. Subscription, Payments, and Cancellations

• Subscription Models: GrooveCV offers free and premium subscription plans, providing access to advanced features such as AI-powered CV creation, analytics, and resume templates. Subscription fees will be clearly indicated upon selecting a plan, ensuring transparency regarding the costs involved. Each plan is designed to cater to different user needs.
• Billing and Payment: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You agree to pay all applicable fees for your selected subscription plan. Payment must be made using valid payment methods, and you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your payment information to avoid service interruptions. All billing information must be accurate, and any failed payments may result in limited access to services until resolved.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You will be charged based on your chosen plan. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time, ensuring that you have full control over your subscription.
• Cancellation and Refunds: You may cancel your subscription anytime through the Stripe self-refund dashboard in your account settings. Refund requests can be made via info@groovecv.com, and we will respond within 60 working days. Refunds will be issued according to our refund policy, which includes a 14-day window from the initial purchase, to maintain fairness for both parties. Refunds will not be provided for any partial subscription periods or unused services beyond the cancellation period.
• Refund Request Form: To request a refund, you must complete a refund request form. The form should include your name, email address, account details, and reason for the refund. We will review the request and respond within 30 working days. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, and all applicable fees may be deducted to cover administrative costs. Refund eligibility is determined based on the reasons provided and adherence to our cancellation policy.

4. User-Generated Content

• Content Ownership: All content you generate using GrooveCV, such as CVs, cover letters, or professional documents, remains your intellectual property. However, by using GrooveCV, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content for operational purposes, including backups, troubleshooting, and marketing (with your explicit consent). This license is limited to ensuring we can provide our services effectively and securely, and it does not affect your ownership rights.
• Content Guidelines: You agree that any content you generate will not infringe on third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, and will not contain offensive, harmful, or illegal material. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable laws and respects the rights of others. We reserve the right to monitor and review user-generated content to ensure compliance.
• AI-Generated Content: GrooveCV uses OpenAI technology to assist in generating CV content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may not always be correct or suitable for all contexts. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy and suitability of the content before using it, as AI tools may produce results that require human judgment. GrooveCV does not accept liability for errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
• Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that violates these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable laws. This is done to ensure that our platform remains safe and compliant for all users. In certain cases, we may notify you of the content removal and provide an opportunity for you to correct the issue.

5. Intellectual Property

• Platform Ownership: All content on GrooveCV, including software, designs, logos, templates, and proprietary algorithms, is the intellectual property of CANARY TECH VENTURES S.R.L. and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of this content may result in legal consequences, including potential claims for damages.
• Restrictions on Use: You may not copy, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works of any part of GrooveCV without explicit written consent. Unauthorized use of GrooveCV’s intellectual property is prohibited and may result in legal action, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.
• Framing, Reverse Engineering, and Unauthorized Use: You may not frame, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of GrooveCV or any of its features. Any unauthorized attempts to modify or extract proprietary software components will result in immediate suspension and potential legal action to protect our intellectual property. These restrictions help us safeguard the integrity and proprietary nature of our platform.
• Third-Party Content and Links: GrooveCV may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or security.
